Here’s another way to get in some Valentine math using conversation hearts. You’ll need to print these worksheets in color. You can print the colored hearts that come with this worksheet and cut them into cards or you can use real conversation hearts. You’ll want to give a handful of the real candies or about 10-20 of the cards to each child. The child then colors in how many of each he has. I would recommend coloring the spaces for each heart the same color as the heart. He or she then counts up how many spaces have been colored in for each and then records that number at the top of the page where it says, “Count and write how many.”
