Now here’s some fun things that begin with r. They are rocket, rabbit, robot, rainbow, ring and rat. Maybe the rat isn’t so “fun” to you, but it might be to the kids. Ha! ha! You can read the words to your kids and then have them “read” the words with you all together. Of course, they’ll really just be naming the picture, but that’s okay. They can identify and circle the r at the beginning of each word, then color the upper and lower case r and the pictures.
