This alphabet match set has a picture on each card representing an object that starts with that letter. Kids match the card with the uppercase letter to the card with the lowercase letter. You might also want to give them the task of saying each word and sounding out each beginning sound. The objects start with short and long vowel sounds and the hard g and hard c sounds. The only exception of a word not starting with the letter sound is xylophone, which starts with the letter x spelling but the z sound. When you print out the cards please use cardstock for longer lasting cards, and don’t forget to print the handy box to store the cards in.
